چکیده

Due to the construction technology of roller compacted concrete (RCC) gravity dams, there are many weak layers that have potential affect seismic performance dams. However, research on response and failure characteristics RCC dams considering their layered characteristic is still lacking. In this paper, zero-thickness cohesive element presented model mechanical behavior layers. An impacted beam selected verify its effects simulating crack propagation. Subsequently, damaged plasticity utilized under loading. The dynamic interaction in dam-reservoir-foundation system considered by coupled acoustic-structural method, whose rationality validated mode analysis Koyna dam 1967 earthquake. algorithms applied investigate influence layer at different elevations process Guandi dam.
